Our inaugural conference, ‘A Century On: Modernist Studies in Wales’, is being held in the James Callaghan Building at Swansea University’s Singleton Park campus. Please visit http://www.swansea.ac.uk/the-university/location/directions/ for directions to the campus; a campus map can be downloaded from the same page or via http://www.swansea.ac.uk/media/CampusPlan.pdf. The James Callaghan building is number 4.

Car parking is available at the adjacent Recreation Ground Car Park (£3.50 a day); for full details, please see http://www.swansea.ac.uk/the-university/location/directions/.

Postgraduate travel bursaries

Thanks to the support of the British Association for Modernist Studies (BAMS), we are now able to offer limited travel bursaries to postgraduate speakers. Those speakers wishing to apply for such a bursary should keep all travel receipts and we will be in touch with details of how to claim after the conference.

Access information

The James Callaghan Building is wheelchair accessible; for full access information please contact modernistnetworkcymru[at]gmail.com and we can address your specific needs.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer accommodation for those wishing to stay overnight. Swansea Conference Services have recommended either Hurst Dene B&B or properties listed on http://www.visitswanseabay.com/ for those who wish to book private accommodation.
